2020 Construction Detour

Summer Bridge Construction - the bridge on Island View Drive, about 3 miles west of the campground, is closed and under construction.

You have two options to get to the campground from Bemidji:
 

1. Take Hwy 71 to Wildwood Rd/Hwy 305. Wildwood Rd is the a scenic winding road (Movil Maze Recreational Area is on this road) and it can also be slower since there are a lot of curves and more traffic on it now that the bridge is closed.

2. You can continue past Wildwood Rd for 3.5 miles and then take a left on Island View Dr/Hwy 22 for 4 miles.

The bridge construction might last into August.
