Since road crews have been working on Hwy 22 this summer, you will want to navigate the gravel roads cautiously as you drive on Hwy 22/Island View Dr. to the campground.

Wildwood Rd/Hwy #305 comes out about 0.6 of a mile west of the campground so you'd have less gravel roads if you take that route. However, there is an incline up to Hwy 22, so large RVs tend to use either Hwy 15/Irvine or Hwy 71 north to Hwy 22/Island View Drive. Currently road crews are putting on layers of gravel so it's possible that you may have a short wait if the road grader needs to come by to push down the gravel rows.
